K. Jay Weaver

Jay Weaver is a Senior Advisor with Crossbow.  In this capacity, Mr. Weaver contributes to the overall strategic focus and development of the firm and advises on key client relationships.  

Mr. Weaver was a Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Walton Street Capital, a private equity real estate platform based in Chicago with offices in Mexico City and Mumbai, where he oversaw the firm's finance, capital markets, debt investing and restructuring efforts and co-led the asset management group.  Mr. Weaver was a member of Walton Street's Investment and Management Committee.

During his almost thirty years in real estate, Mr. Weaver has participated in nearly $50 billion of commercial real estate transactions and structured over $30 billion of debt.   Jay has comprehensive experience in fund and platform structuring, investment, management and exits.  From 1989 through 1994 Mr. Weaver held associate to senior vice president positions in the finance, work-out and acquisitions areas at JMB Realty in Chicago.

Jay has a B.B.A. from the University of Alaska and an M.M. from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. 

Mr. Weaver is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute. He is a member of the of the Executive Committee of the Kellogg School of Management's Real Estate Advisory Board, the Lincoln Park Zoo Board of Trustees and the Economic Club of Chicago.
